Professional tennis player Novak Djokovic has been welcomed back into Australia after identifying as an ISIS bride, taking advantage of the Australian government fast tracking the return of citizens who fled to fight for the caliphate.
The 20-time Grand Slam winner was famously deported from Australia earlier this year for failing to meet the strict “your body, our choice” policy enforced by Twitter.
In a move that surprised the elite athlete, he said he was not only welcomed back into the country but offered a home, land, and Centrelink package that dwarfed his career’s entire prize pool.
“Terrorising opponents was all the Australian Government needed to hear to approve my return,” added Djokovic.
Although delighted with the loophole, the Serbian national is concerned he’ll have to play for Australia after gift baskets, including Australian citizenships, are delivered to returning ISIS brides on arrival.
